The following is a photo of a flashlight using 3 'C' cells, running a Luxeon Star direct drive, from 4.5 volts! This photo was taken by Craig Johnson of the LED Museum. The Luxeon Star modified flashlight, which Craig calls the 'Blaster', is brighter than the Trek 6000, which has 60 LED's !! Brighter Light, longer lasting batteries, and many times less expensive. What is the logical choice?

It's easy to see that the Elektro Lumens 'Blaster' is brighter than even the Trek 6000 EX60. Incredable! Now it has been tested by several that even after 71 hours, the 'Blaster' still produces useable light, from only 3 inexpensive 'C' cell batteries!
